Head Chef required for Tasmania’s Premier Yacht Club and THA Award Winning Venue.
This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef to use their creative flair and passion to set the standards at our Club and to build a strong reputation within our local community.
The selected candidate will have the capacity to build menus for the member’s bistro, events and functions and will be dedicated to achieving consistent levels of food quality and presentation. You will thrive on the satisfaction of running a tight, organised, profitable operation while ensuring both creative food concepts and pleasing options are available to our members and guests.
We want a Head Chef that takes pride in their level of service and presentation, manages their kitchen efficiently during busy service periods and has excellent communication with management and front of house staff.

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania is seeking a permanent part-time Administration Assistant for Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
This position is a varied and critical role in the day-to-day running of the Club. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for reception duties, both telephone and face to face and is required to provide excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
This role has a high level of interaction with members and visitors. A strong focus on customer service is essential to ensure the Club is presented professionally and represented in a manner befitting a Royal Club.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role. Significant flexibility is required in order to cover operational requirements. Experience with graphic design will be highly regarded.
Skills and Experience
Solid experience as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Have a strong client focus both internally and externally
Possess a high level of confidentiality
Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
