Commodore re-elected for third term

Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania members last evening re-elected Commodore Matthew Johnston for his third term in office.

Vice Commodore Matthews was also re-elected for her third year at the Club’s Annual General Meeting, attended by about 45 members, including half dozen Past Commodores.

Stephen McCullum was elected as Rear Commodore, replacing Claire Cunningham who did not seek re-election.

Commodore Johnston presented Claire with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of her service to the RYCT as a Director and then Rear Commodore for the past two years.

Ross Mannering was elected as a new Director with Richard Bevan, Geoff Wells, Michael Cooper and Gavin Adamson re-elected to the Board.
