The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania's marine radio station provides a free twice daily service for weather reports and yacht position recording.

Standard sked times and frequencies for VIT 319

• 0810 hrs and 1810 hrs - VHF Ch 81 and Ch 21 (International duplex frequency, [INT or AUS not USA.])
• 0820 hrs and 1820 hrs - 4483 kHz.

Operating times for the second station VIT320 are variable every day and evening.

• VHF channels monitored are Ch 16 and 81.
  

VHF Ch 81 repeater is located on the Tasman Peninsula at Mt Raoul and Ch 21 repeater is at Mt Murray just north of Triabunna. Through these repeaters Tascoast Radio has VHF coverage from Coles Bay on the East Coast to the south of Bruny Island and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.

Current radio sked times are based on local time.

Daylight Saving operates over the summer months from Sunday 4 October 2009 (2.00 am) to Sunday 4 April 2010 (3.00 am). Skeds can be arranged on higher frequencies for long distance travellers.  The Club regularly skeds with yachts travelling Australia's east coast, to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and periodically other parts of the world. 

In addition to the above regular sked frequencies and times, other working frequencies are available following prior arrangement with the Club. These are:
